DiNa

Digital devices have been developing so much in the last few years, and they are now a big part of our daily routine. Computers are the primary source to study for most students. However, they also bring side effects, with one of them being alienation between humans and nature.

We introduce DINA; a nature-related project that aims to reconnect people with nature and create a healthy distance between them and digital devices. The project includes samples of natural elements representing the connection that each teammate has with nature. The product is a neutral looking LED matrix that intensifies the samples' natural experience with various light animations. The users get to choose their own samples that bring or will bring them closer to nature and use it to disconnect from the digital. This will result in the minimization of screen time and a stronger bond between the users and nature.
